September 17, 2015 by Perez Leave a Comment

Iris Apfel is an American businesswoman, interior designer, and fashion icon.
Born in Astoria, Queens, New York, Apfel is the only child of Samuel Barrel, whose family owned a glass-and-mirror business, and his Russian-born wife, Sadye, who owned a fashion boutique.
There is a documentary abut this hip lady – if you have not seen it yet – well its time you did! Iris studied art history at New York University and attended art school at the University of Wisconsin.
As a young woman, Apfel worked for Women’s Wear Daily and for interior designer Elinor Johnson. She also was an assistant to illustrator Robert Goodman. HIP! Seriously hip! Love her!

In 1948, she married Carl Apfel. Two years later, they launched the textile firm Old World Weavers and ran it until they retired in 1992.

From 1950 to 1992, Iris Apfel took part in several design restoration projects, including work at the White House for nine presidents: Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, and Clinton.

here is the clip to the Film IRIS – that all you Hip Chicks and Hip Cats should see!

Today my little Ziggy went and had some surgery Today my little Ziggy went and had some surgery

She had a little growth that had to be removed The vet is sending it for testing now to see if it's something we should be concerned about and she had to get her teeth extracted just four of her little teeth. And smaller breeds like they sometimes teeth are very crowded and they become compacted so she had four of them extracted.

I have to say her vet is amazing. This is there's a picture of her here in this little reel

I'm so thankful for my little Ziggy and she's recovering now and I'm able to take her home in 45 minutes.

She's a strong little bear and she's my bear

I'm hoping Ziggy has a fast healing process. She can't go out for 2 weeks. She's wearing a onesie and she's going to be just fine

Thank goodness for the small joys in life.

I am writing to express my deep concern regarding I am writing to express my deep concern regarding the current administration's treatment of Dr. Fauci. Dr. Fauci's primary focus has always been public safety, and it is deeply troubling that a dedicated doctor and scientist—whose job is to protect our nation and the world from an unprecedented pandemic—is being targeted.

It is misaligned that the public's attention and resources are being directed toward investigating scientists, particularly when major issues remain unaddressed, such as bringing individuals named in the Epstein files to justice.

The ongoing public scrutiny of Dr. Fauci sets a dangerous precedent. I worry that the next time a global health crisis arises, qualified scientists will be apprehensive to assist out of fear that their health decisions and efforts to protect the nation will result in public defamation. Former President Trump's handling of the pandemic, including his public statements downplaying the virus and suggesting unproven treatments, deserves scrutiny, rather than the actions of Dr. Fauci.

WTF !!! . Happy Friday! #drfauchi #healthylifestyle #covid_19

Eyes The winds of change blow through my life day Eyes The winds of change blow through my life day by day I reminisce on reflections of my life. I'm a self-sufficient happy woman. And I feel blessed in so many ways and I am thankful for everything in my life. With all of that said, I do deserve the whole package and I'm so looking forward to when that part of my life is set. #love #truelove❤️ #wins #partnership
